BOOMBOTS

Making it Fresh

No one does a beloved neighborhood restaurant like Cliff and Cara Blauvelt, owners of Odie B’s in Denver. So when they gave us the pitch for their latest concept: Boombots — a spot dripping in freshness, from the vibe to the pasta — we knew we had to deliver.

We pulled our references from high-fashion street wear and graffiti as well as the interior vision dreamed up by Regular Architecture. Bold patterns. Saturated colors. Local charm underneath it all.

“Boombots” is an Italian-American slang word for idiot — and we wanted that idiotic love for deliciously fresh pasta to spill over into the branding. Whether that meant writing the restaurant name 100 different times 100 different ways or creating a wallpaper pattern out of microscopic fusilli, we built the brand to hold a stockpot of visual language.
