LIRICA

A New Voice for East Austin Living

CSW Development came to us with a multifamily building rising in one of East Austin’s most culturally layered neighborhoods. From the start, the goal wasn’t to drop a brand onto the site, but to let the place shape the identity.

Lírica pulls from the textures already there — record store interiors, Austin’s offbeat visual language, the neighborhood’s Hispanic history and musical roots. The system is bold and graphic, but never generic. Type, patterns, and illustration take cues from old newspaper cartoons, hand-made signage, and locally grown music culture, creating moments that feel referential without turning nostalgic. B2 Design led the interior design

In multifamily branding, coherence matters. When the brand stops at the logo, the experience falls apart. At Lírica, graphics become murals, patterns live in the space, and the identity moves easily between interiors, signage, and digital touchpoints. The result is a living system — one that feels specific to East Austin, and flexible enough to evolve alongside it.
